What is the HÆDLINKS Programme?
The HÆDLINKS Programme is an international professional development experience designed to strengthen knowledge and skills in sustainable entrepreneurship, international diplomacy, and strategic partnership building.

Who delivers the HÆDLINKS Programme?
The programme is delivered by The FuturED Institute and supported by the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA).

Programmes and Academic Structure

What programme options are available?
Three thematic editions are currently offered:

What distinguishes each programme edition?
Each edition focuses on a specific thematic area, ranging from entrepreneurship and diplomacy to sustainable trade or luxury branding and corporate sustainability.

How long do the programmes last?
All programmes run for 5 days and 4 nights, from Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:00.

Content and Methodology

What is included in the programme package?
The package includes in-person workshops, expert lectures, institutional visits, professional development sessions, training materials, international certification, FuturED Institute and IGTCA membership, and welcome events.
Transport and accommodation are not included.

What learning methodologies are used?
The programme follows a practical, interdisciplinary, and interactive approach, including workshops with diplomats and experts, guided institutional visits, networking sessions, CV reviews, and real-case analysis.

Will I receive study materials?
Yes. Participants receive academic materials and digital resources during and after the programme.

Participants and Language

Who can apply?
The programme is open to professionals, entrepreneurs, postgraduate students, researchers, public officials, NGO leaders, and experts interested in sustainability, trade, diplomacy, and global business development.

Can I participate if I do not live in Europe?
Yes. Participants from all regions are welcome, with regular attendance from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

In which languages are the programmes delivered?
Programmes are available in English and Spanish. Other languages may be offered upon request, subject to demand and availability.

Can I attend on behalf of an institution or organisation?
Yes. Many participants attend as official representatives of universities, companies, NGOs, or public sector organisations.

Certification and Academic Recognition

Will I receive an official certification?
Yes. The programme aligns with ECTS and CATS frameworks, with an equivalence of 2 ECTS credits / 4 CATS credits, subject to institutional recognition.

Is the certificate internationally recognised?
Yes. The certificate holds international recognition and may be presented to academic institutions, companies, public bodies, and international organisations.

Registration, Fees and Conditions

How do I register?
Registration is completed via email at events@futured.org.uk. Applicants must submit passport details, contact information, and complete full payment to confirm their place.

Is the payment refundable?
No. Payments are non-refundable.

Are scholarships or discounts available?
Partial scholarships or special conditions may be offered in specific cases and will be communicated accordingly.

What happens if I cannot attend after registering?
In exceptional cases, the organisation may consider transferring the place to a future edition, subject to availability.

Travel and Visa Requirements

What arrangements must participants make independently?
Participants are responsible for arranging their passport, visa, medical insurance, and accommodation. International travel and health insurance are strongly recommended.

Does the FuturED Institute assist with visa applications?
The FuturED Institute may issue invitation letters and participation certificates; however, visa approval remains the responsibility of the relevant authorities.
