The FuturED Institute<\/b><\/a> is proud to announce that H.E. Ambassador Iv\u00e1n Romero-Mart\u00ednez, Ambassador of the Republic of<\/span> Honduras to the United Kingdom and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps in London, will be honoured at the <\/span>IV International Education & Sustainability Gala<\/b><\/a>, to be held on 27 November 2026 at<\/span> The Caledonian Club<\/b><\/a>, London. The distinction recognises his exceptional lifetime contribution to diplomacy, international cooperation and public service.<\/span><\/p>\n

With more than fifty years of distinguished diplomatic service, Ambassador Romero-Mart\u00ednez has represented Honduras across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, while also serving as Permanent Representative to the<\/span> United Nations<\/b><\/a> in New York and Geneva, and as Ambassador to the<\/span> European Union<\/b><\/a>. His career has been marked by senior leadership roles within major international organisations and an unwavering commitment to multilateral dialogue, peace and international understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a tribute to Ambassador Romero-Mart\u00ednez’s distinguished public service and his commitment to international cooperation, part of the funds raised during the Gala will support academic scholarships for Honduran students and professionals, creating new opportunities for access to higher education and professional development.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Gala is the flagship annual fundraising event of The FuturED Institute, bringing together ambassadors, government representatives, business leaders, academics and philanthropists from around the world to support educational opportunities and promote sustainable development through international collaboration.<\/span><\/p>\n
