What is the Hædlinks Program?

The Hædlinks Program is an international training experience designed for people who wish to enhance their knowledge and skills in three key areas of global development: sustainable entrepreneurship, international diplomacy and building strategic alliances.

Powered by The FuturED Institute and supported by the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA), this programme combines theory, practice and networking in an immersive and multicultural environment, located in the city of London, a global epicentre for business, sustainability and international cooperation.

Over five days, participants will have access to intensive workshops, institutional visits, professional development sessions and direct interaction with industry experts and leaders, in an experience that promotes transformational leadership and strategic thinking.

Programme objectives

Participants in the HÆDLINKS PROGRAM: UK-EU INTERNATIONAL GREEN TRADE AND COMMERCE will achieve the following key learning outcomes:

  • Develop strategic economic knowledge
  • Enhance partnership & negotiation skills
  • Experience hands-on learning
  • Expand global perspectives

Methodology

Given London’s leadership in sustainable finance and commerce and Brussels’ role in EU trade policy and regulatory frameworks, the Hædlinks Program focuses on the technical aspects of green trade and commerce, equipping participants with data-driven insights, regulatory knowledge, and industry best practices.

Analysis of carbon pricing models, green supply chain frameworks, and EU sustainability compliance regulations, ensuring alignment with UK-EU trade standards.
  • ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS & CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
Examination of ESG reporting requirements, sustainable investment trends, and risk assessment models within the global trade sector.
  • TRADE POLICY, DIPLOMACY & REGULATORY FRAMEWORKS
Exploration of cross-border trade agreements, circular economy legislation, and the impact of EU Green Deal policies on UK-EU commerce.

Through interactive industry workshops, policy briefings, and case-study analysis, participants will develop technical expertise in trade negotiations, green finance mechanisms, and sustainable business strategies, positioning themselves for success in the evolving UK-EU green economy.
