London, 30 June 2025 | The City of London will host a key new international gathering: the Blue Economy Roundtable, a high-level space that will bring together experts, policy makers, researchers, entrepreneurs and civil society representatives to discuss the future of sustainable ocean economies.

The event will take place on Monday, 8 September 2025, from 8:30 to 15:30, at the headquarters of the United Nations Association of the United Kingdom (UNA-UK), located at the Royal Horseguards Hotel, 3 Whitehall Ct, London, United Kingdom.

The theme of this edition will be: “Advancing the Blue Economy: Fostering Sustainable Growth and Innovation”.

Organised by The FuturED Institute, with the support of the International Green Trade and Commerce Association (IGTCA), the meeting aims to consolidate global partnerships and generate innovative proposals around sustainable ocean development as an engine for climate resilience, economic growth and social justice.

We invite academics, researchers, entrepreneurs, NGOs and professionals working in disciplines related to the blue economy to submit research papers and paper proposals. Submit your proposal and be part of the programme.
Deadline to submit proposals: 18 July 2025
Communication of results: 25 July 2025
