During December 2025, the Third Women’s Rugby Tournament “The FuturED Institute and the Foundation Princess Charlène of Monaco” was held at Taborin Rugby Club, located in central Argentina, in the Province of Córdoba.
Last Saturday, Taborin Rugby Club hosted a full day of competition that brought together invited clubs and featured the participation of all four categories of the host club: minis, pre-juniors, juniors, and the senior women’s team. The tournament took place in an atmosphere of celebration, camaraderie and commitment, reaffirming the core values of rugby and the sustained growth of the sport in the region.
In the senior category, the Taborin women’s team competed alongside the RFOK combined side, while in the junior and pre-junior categories, teams from Alta Gracia, Salsipuedes and Gimnasia y Esgrima de Ituzaingó (Buenos Aires) took part, strengthening sporting exchange between institutions.
In terms of results, Gimnasia y Esgrima secured first place in the junior and pre-junior categories, while Taborin Rugby Club claimed first place in the senior category.
From The FuturED Institute, we highlight the work of the teams involved in the International Programme for the Support and Development of Women’s Rugby, which plays a key role in promoting and consolidating women’s rugby in Argentina. The FuturED Institute and the Princess Charlène of Monaco Foundation will continue working together to support and strengthen the development of women’s rugby at both regional and international levels.
