During its recent institutional mission to Panama, representatives of The FuturED Institute held a constructive meeting with Panama’s National Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (SENACYT), reaffirming a shared interest in strengthening international cooperation in higher education, innovation, science, and sustainable development.
Held as part of a broader institutional agenda carried out between 4 and 8 May 2026, the meeting contributed to strengthening strategic dialogue between Panama and Europe in areas linked to innovation ecosystems, academic cooperation, entrepreneurship, talent development, and institutional capacity building.
The exchange also highlighted Panama’s growing role as a regional platform for innovation, international education, and multilateral collaboration. In this context, both institutions discussed potential avenues for future cooperation, including executive education programmes, academic internationalisation initiatives, innovation and entrepreneurship projects, and international scholarship and mobility opportunities.
Founded in Monaco and consolidated in the United Kingdom, The FuturED Institute operates internationally at the intersection of higher education, sustainability, innovation, and academic diplomacy, maintaining active collaborations across more than 20 countries.
The Institute also extends its sincere appreciation to the Embassy of Panama in the United Kingdom for facilitating the coordination of this important meeting and supporting the broader institutional mission in Panama.
