During a recent official visit to Ecuador, The FuturED Institute held a meeting with Universidad Espíritu Santo (UEES), one of the country’s leading private universities. Founded in 1993 and based in the metropolitan area of Guayaquil, UEES is recognised for its academic quality and strong presence in international university rankings, including its QS Five Stars rating.
The meeting was held between Juan Dávila y Verdin, representing The FuturED Institute, and Angelike Páez Tobar, Dean of the School of International Studies and Tourism at UEES. Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest in higher education, including international academic experiences, student engagement, and institutional cooperation.
The exchange allowed both organisations to share perspectives on current trends in higher education and to identify opportunities where their respective expertise and networks could complement one another. Particular attention was given to the development of practical learning opportunities that combine academic content with direct exposure to international environments.
The meeting reinforced the value of dialogue between institutions committed to innovation and educational quality and provided an opportunity to strengthen relations between The FuturED Institute and one of Ecuador’s most internationally recognised universities.
