HOW TO PARTICIPATE

We welcome applications and nominations from individuals, organisations, and initiatives whose work reflects the values of the HIRMINA PRIZE™.

Eligibility Criteria (2026) 

  • To be considered, applicants must:
  • Be active or under development in Ibero-America, Latin America, South America, Central America or the Caribbean.
  • Demonstrate inclusive and sustainable practices.
  • Present positive, measurable and sustained impact.
  • Promote education as a tool for sustainability and community transformation.
  • Show growth, replication or scalability potential.
  • Submit truthful and up-to-date information.

Submission Process

  • Complete the online application form.
  • Include supporting materials such as documents, media, testimonials, or publications.
  • Submissions are accepted in English, French, or Spanish.
  • By applying, participants accept the Terms and Conditions of the Prize.

Key Dates

Receipt and evaluation of applications: until 2 October 2026.

Pre-selection of outstanding initiatives: from 5 October to 19 October 2026.

Selection of finalists: 23 October 2026.

Selection of the winner: during November 2026.

Official announcement of the winner: 27 November 2026, during the International “Education for Sustainability” Gala (at The Caledonian Club, London, United Kingdom).

Shortlisted candidates may be invited to submit additional documentation or participate in interviews.
