A few days ago, The FuturED Institute had the opportunity to participate in the Career Week of the International University of Monaco (IUM), reconnecting with the institution where it was originally incubated between 2020 and 2021 as part of the MBA experience of its founder, Juan Dávila y Verdin.

Founded in Monaco and later developed in the United Kingdom, The FuturED Institute is an international educational organisation focused on higher education for sustainable development. Its mission is to promote innovative solutions, empower future leaders, and expand access to high-quality education for Spanish and English-speaking communities worldwide.

During the event, FuturED engaged with students and faculty, sharing its gradual development into an international platform delivering specialised certifications, experiential learning programmes, and academic collaborations across Europe and Latin America, with a cross-cutting focus on sustainability.

Since its launch in 2021, the Institute has taken part in initiatives such as COP26 in Glasgow, Monaco Ocean Week, and collaborations with organisations including the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. Its work has also been recognised through initiatives led by Google and Enterprise Nation, and featured by National Geographic in Spanish in 2023.

The Institute aims to complement traditional degree structures through international programmes and institutional partnerships, contributing in a modest way to continued collaboration with universities such as IUM.

As part of its engagement with IUM students, FuturED renewed, for the fifth consecutive year, its online internship opportunities in Business Development. The next cohorts will begin in September 2026 and January 2027. For further information, students are invited to contact learning@futured.org.uk.

This participation represents a meaningful return to its origins, highlighting the role that academic environments can play in supporting the early development of international initiatives and long-term collaboration.
