The FuturED Institute participated in the Official Launch of Panama’s National Strategies on Artificial Intelligence, Semiconductors and Microelectronics, organised by the Government of the Republic of Panama on 30 July 2026 at the Panama Convention Center.
The Institute was represented by Dr Issamary Sánchez Ortega, one of its distinguished faculty members. During the event, she met with Mrs Mariabel Dutari, from the Office of International Technical Cooperation at SENACYT, to discuss the strategic pillars of cooperation currently being developed between SENACYT and The FuturED Institute in Panama.
The official ceremony included an address by H.E. José Raúl Mulino, President of the Republic of Panama, who presented the Government’s vision for advancing innovation, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies as key drivers of the country’s future development.
The FuturED Institute is grateful to the Embassy of Panama in the United Kingdom for its continued support in strengthening the Institute’s relationship with SENACYT, as well as for facilitating its participation in this important national event.
