During a recent official visit to Ecuador, The FuturED Institute held a series of meetings with representatives of public institutions involved in foreign affairs, education, international cooperation, and economic development. The visit formed part of the Institute’s commitment to supporting higher education, professional training, talent development, sustainability, and internationalisation.
The programme included meetings with Francisco Salgado, Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility; Ambassador Iván Garcés, Director of Bi-Multilateral Negotiation; Mgtr. Pamela Ordóñez, Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Education; Marifranci Candela Córdova Arauz, Public Policy Design Analyst for Human Talent Development; and representatives of PRO ECUADOR, including Hugo Cañarte, Carlos Zambrano, and Miguel Álava.
The discussions provided an opportunity to present the work of The FuturED Institute and its strategic relationship with the International Green Trade & Commerce Association (IGTCA), while exchanging views on educational innovation, skills development, sustainability, and international cooperation. The meetings also gave continuity to the dialogue initiated following the scholarship opportunities offered by The FuturED Institute to Ecuador in November 2025.
The visit reinforced the value of collaboration between public institutions, academia, and international organisations in promoting knowledge exchange, human capital development, and sustainable growth. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen institutional relationships and explore areas of mutual interest.
The FuturED Institute extends its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of Ecuador in London for its support in facilitating this programme of meetings. Special thanks are due to Ambassador Luis Vayas Valdivieso and his team for their assistance and commitment to strengthening links between Ecuador and international partners.
Through these engagements, The FuturED Institute reaffirmed its commitment to supporting educational excellence, professional development, and international cooperation in Ecuador.
